What Do You Really Want?

This is one of Bob Proctor’s favourite quotes. Think about it. “Success is the progressive realisation of a worthy ideal.” Our success is ultimately preordained as we work towards our desires and our major goals in life. If we spend the time creating, imagining, building our goals, they are bound to become a reality. Why? Because it’s the law.

Successful people firstly know what they want and how to get it.

If you were a prospect the first question I would ask you is: What do you really want ?? I mean think about it. This is not something that most people get asked or ask them selves. Most people are quite happy living payday to payday and simply don’t question why they do what they do. I mean they may not necessarily like what they do, they are just happy doing it because it helps them spend the money on new shoes or that yearly holiday that they can’t afford.

 

If you want any type of success in your life, you MUST first of all turn that want into a goal. The oxford dictionary defines a goals as such:

  1. The object of a person’s ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.
  2. The destination of a journey.

How are you going to direct your life without knowing where you are going first?

Having a goal will help you find ways to help you get to where you want to go but first you need to be clear on what it is you want and if you are “willing” and “able” to do what it takes to get you there.

You see success is a system and once you have the system down pat, anything is possible.

There are 3 types of goals: A, B, & C

The A type goals are goals that we currently present. They are something that we already know how to do. Type B goals are what we think we can do and type C goals are our wants. The C Type goals are what we really want out of life and it comes from what we dream about and our fantasies. In order to achieve our true desires and create our dreams as realities, we need to become aware of our C type goal and move directly towards attaining that goal.

One of the best ways we do this is we firstly we need to ask: “Am I able” to achieve my C type goal, and if you have answered yes, then you ask “Am I willing?” Once you have answered yes to this question, you start to turn your fantasy into a reality. Belief is the ultimate factor that dictates the results of your C type goal. You must not allow anyone or any circumstances destroy your fantasy or dream.

The next best thing to do towards attaining your C type goal is to become emotionally involved with the idea. This will help create change in your behaviour and ultimately start shifting your awareness to allow you to become closer towards your goals and turn your fantasy into facts.

Write your goal on a card and carry it with you at all times today. Wake up everyday repeating out loud your goals at least 2 or more times per day. This will help impress your true desires into your subconscious mind. Thereby creating thinking into results.
